Dr. Luis Rivera is dedicated to helping patients move with comfort and confidence through skilled, compassionate podiatric care. He joined Marin Foot and Ankle Center in 2026 and brings a strong foundation in both medical science and advanced foot and ankle medicine. Dr. Rivera earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical and Medical Engineering from the University of Miami, followed by his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2023. He completed his residency training at Palmetto General Hospital, where he gained extensive clinical and surgical experience caring for a wide range of lower extremity conditions.
Dr. Rivera values clear communication and believes in empowering patients with the knowledge they need to make confident decisions about their health. He speaks English, Spanish, and French, ensuring that individuals from diverse backgrounds feel understood and supported throughout their care.
Dr. Luis Marin has been providing skilled, patient-centered podiatric care since 2005. After earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Barry University, he went on to become board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. His advanced training, surgical expertise, and commitment to excellence have made him a trusted provider for individuals seeking comprehensive foot and ankle care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Marin is deeply involved in medical education and community outreach. He serves as Director of Residency for Podiatric Surgery and Medicine at Palmetto General Hospital and Director of Podiatric Services at Leon Medical Centers. He is also the Co-Founder of the Steps of Life Foundation and has received recognition for his contributions through awards and publications.
Dr. Marin is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association. He speaks English and Spanish and is affiliated with Hialeah Hospital and Jackson North Medical Center, where he continues to advocate for exceptional patient.
